The Adult Acting class is run similarly to professional classes in NYC and LA,  jam-packed with fun and substantial learning.  We will begin each class with 30 minutes of Improvisation taught by Lauren Henry (you know her from Better Than Bacon) as a springboard for trusting instincts.  While the primary technique taught in this class is Meisner Technique, other influences include: Stella Adler, Viola Spolin, Terry Schreiber, The Barrow Group, and Stanislavski.

What is improv?  Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment. Often improvisers will take a suggestion from the audience or draw on some other source of inspiration to get started.

Learning improv will sharpen your ability to think on your toes, open your mind to new ideas, and give you a safe space to get back in touch with your silly side!

Take the gloom out of Mondays with our Improv class!
