Spring Shows [2018]

Middle/High School Show

Romance, revelry and an infectious pop score ignite in this contemporary, yet lovingly faithful, musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy. The King and his best buds decide to swear off women. But when four cute, clever girls from their past show up, they’re forced to reconsider all of that nonsense!  Add in an outlandish Spanish exchange student and a performance art-loving professor, love and devotion are put to the test with hilarious results.

Elementary/Middle School Show

Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of this scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wondka’s rules in the factory –  or suffer the consequences.

About Spring Shows at West Chester Studio

Our Spring Shows provide young performers a live theatrical experience.  During our rehearsal process, creativity is encouraged as students test out classroom skills in a show.  Under the direction of industry professionals, your child will shine on stage!  In addition to honing performance skills, our students witness the process of costuming, directing and everything in-between.  When the lights come up opening night, students feel the rush of excitement, exude confidence and feel a sense of accomplishment.
