Our top priority is the safety of our audience, artists, staff, and volunteers, and we appreciate your support as we continue to be guided by that goal. THANK YOU!
Effective Immediately (April 27, 2022), Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will no longer require proof of vaccination, masks, or a negative COVID test to attend a performance or class at our venue.
Uptown! reserves the right to adjust this policy should conditions warrant, in line with evolving CDC recommendations or if mandated by union rules or policies. Rentals may still opt to enforce their own mitigation efforts despite the relaxation of our policies.

We are continuing our commitment to exemplary safety practices and have:
- Updated our HVAC system, which cleans and sanitizes the air on a continuous basis.
- Installed hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
- Trained our employees on proper processes to comply with COVID protocols including sanitization of the theater before and after performances.
- Made free masks available to all patrons and guests
ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS UPTOWN! KNAUER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AND WCSTUDIO WILL IMPLEMENT FOR IN-PERSON CLASSES AND REHEARSALS:
Our cleaning crew will sterilize the entire building weekly.
A Staff member will sanitize surfaces in the building before and after each class/rehearsal.
The best air filters will be used for our 3 yr old HVC system. Our air system will remain on high to offer the most filtered air possible, because of this we recommend all performers bring a sweatshirt, sweater or light jacket for classes/rehearsals. Because our HVC system is only 3 years old we likely have one of the best air filtering systems in the area.
Classes are scheduled to allow performers to remain in one individual small class group and one classroom/theater.

Hand washing will take place after each break and hand sanitizing will take place as performers enter the building.
